Madinda Ndlovu has resigned as head coach of Botswana side Township Rollers. Ndlovu lost the Mascom Top 8 final at the weekend to fellow Zimbabwean Rahman Gumbo and was not happy with the way his team lost ,disputing a penalty awarded to Gaborone United. Madinda has had a frustful spell at Rollers leading them to the league title last season. He had won two previous league titles with Mochudi Chiefs before moving to Township Rollers.
A statement from the club read: Township Rollers FC Management confirms that Coach Madinda Ndlovu has tendered his resignation as the Head Coach of Township Rollers FC today (21st April 2015). He has given a notice to serve the remainder of his contract. The management further advises that Mr Mogomotsi Teenage Mpote has been assigned the full responsibility of coaching the team till the end of the season, and to give the full control of the team, the management has agreed to release Coach Madinda Ndlovu with immediate effect.
